Database normalisation ensures the speed of the database and eliminates redundancy. Our recipes are tagged; all ingredients are categorised according to the German Federal Food Code (BLS).
In other words, various information concerning ingredients and the nutritional values of the individual ingredients are stored in such a way that they can be retrieved quickly and in the same way for each recipe.
